Y’all. I’m going to see this crazy concert where most of the artists featured in it I don’t even know, but SIMPLE PLAN is going to perform for about 35 minutes. 35 minutes.
This is very important to me. I was technically married to Pierre Bouvier back when I was in 8th grade. We also technically were divorced as well by the end of 8th? or 9th grade, because he was “insanely jealous” of me socializing with other imaginary famous people. It just struck me that my life probably wasn’t even real when I was in 8th grade. Unicorns and flying monkeys and all Inkheart-like.
I haven’t listened to punk rock for a long while and I don’t even know the words of any Simple Plan songs in their recent albums. So I’m hoping Pierre is going to notice that I’m there and sing me some songs that I imagined he would sing for me. My life is pathetic right now.
Also, I’ve been swooning over the victory of Phillip Phillips. This particular event has made me want to watch AI again, although the show is basically, or already has fallen apart since Cowell. It’s so funny how all the youtube haters’ comments are about stereotypes and racism — I mean, it is so easy to understand why Phillip deserves this, but somehow it’s so hard for so many people.
This is also very important to me. Phillip Phillips is from Albany, GA — which is, correct me if I’m wrong, about one hour away from Macon. WHAAAAAT. I’m feeling like I’m actually from GA and cheering for my local bud. This is crazy.
My summer has been busy and boring in a way. I’ve been reading books and working. I haven’t even travelled legitly. This is worrying.
